My parents have always preached to us kids that putting on sunscreen and drinking enough water is essential. This is why it always came natural to me to put on sunscreen not only on beach days, but also any time I would leave the house. So many people do not know that you can get sun damage even if it is not sunny outside. Nowadays, skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the US.

So please make sure to protect yourself from the sun! Good thing I do have some recommendations for sunscreen for you. I also provide some eco-friendly ones, because when we are at it, why not protect the environment too?
My absolute favorite sunscreen, which I have been using for 2 years, is from the Annemarie Boerlind range. It’s a German brand, you’ll find in many stores around the globe (Europe, America, Asia, Africa) and the best thing about it is that the brand is CSE (Certified Sustainable Economics) certified and additionally, is a 2017 climate neutral company (check their website for more information). With all that said, I have to tell you that this sunscreen smells amazing too. It is too, very easy and smooth to apply, which is not always the case when using eco-friendly sunscreen.
One of the first eco-friendly sunscreen I tried was the Eco Sun Lotion Neutral SPF 30 Without Perfum from Eco Cosmetics. It never failed to protect me from the sun (no sunburn), but I found it a little hard to apply since the texture is thick and might leave white marks, if you don’t massage it into the skin. However, they do have other options such as the sun cream, which I find easier to apply and does to job just right.
Not an all-natural brand but since my acne treatment in 2014 I swear by their Eucerin Sun Fluid Sensitive Protect SPF 50 lotion. My dermatologist recommended this mattifying facial sunscreen to me and it really is amazing. I tend to get pimples on my face instantly when using other sunscreen on my face, but this makes me feel super good about my face and I have never had any reaction to it other than not getting sun burned 😉
